SIMPLE BLACK SHIRT | A special one

In cooperation with C&A

For me, basic pieces are a crucial part in my wardrobe – but it wasn’t always like that. Back in the days I was buying only very special pieces, which I could not wear on a daily basis to school or to work. Nowadays I invest a lot more into basic pieces and integrate them into my daily looks to make them wearable for everyday!

Today’s look is all about that simplicity: a summerlook, perfect for everyday! I chose to wear some white denim shorts and my new Cradle to Cradle Certified T-Shirt (C2C) from C&A. To jazz up the look a little more, I added a cute black and white belt to go with it. Black stilettos, a silver handbag and black sunnies – ready to go!

„Designed to be recycled“

You were probably thinking about the term „Cradle to Cradle Certified T-Shirt“: It means that the shirts get tested by an institute of how they are made (ecological and sustainable). C&A is actually the first one worldwide with the gold-level certificate for their new shirts – they are recyclable!

And since all of us do tend to buy basic shirts from time to time – why not investing in such ecological useful ones? They are available in seventeen colors – I of course went for the black one, haha!

Nowadays it’s also quite hard to know which brands work ecologically and which ones don’t – and I have to admit that in the past I did not know a lot about it. But especially for basic fashionwear I think it can be a great first step to start thinking ecologically. It’s not about changing your whole wardrobe (I surely won’t haha) but it’s more about starting to think about the awareness of that topic! :)
